22nd August, Night
After an uneventful morning involving @TheDarthTalon spewing further inexplicable accusations about @CadeSkywalker’s ability in the bedroom (They’re unfounded!), an awkward calm settled over the Twitterverse. Conversations were maintained but muted, and the masquerade of ‘a day away from work’ spread like the tide, covering the sands of emotion and dragging away those hard-headed rocks to a better place. Basically, Saturdays destroy our ‘sea defences’ and tend to leave us all vulnerable. Our longshore drift takes us to very silly topics.
The wonderful Alternate Universe beauty known as @ariabrisard, @scorchedsith’s lover, invited us to a fancy dress party aboard her ship, and can I just say now - it is ALWAYS a pleasure to dock inside her… I mean the ship. Yeah. There were thirty or more in attendance, with costumes ranging from the outlandish Jessica Rabbit (@biddygirl) to the cat-themed Hello Kitty Vaders and lingerie of @DraconicDreams. Thomas the Tank Engine aka a Cannon aka Carlton Banks showed up to get the dance floor pumping, but left early after nearly killing @Qwi_Xux with a distracted pirouette that resulted in a more pyrotechnic mishap, and @LizTheBlonde’s cheerleading and increased ‘intelligence’ certainly inclined many of us to stay around for the party.
I’m looking around for anyone who witnessed anything outside of the party. FACT: We need to know all that occurs.
