Today, the sounds of chaos was not the usual sound of canon shattering but something darker entirely.
@theCadBane’s patience paid off today when the explosive he planted days ago in @LiztheBlonde’s apartment went off-with her at home. After returning from the lawyers office @Every1HatesAni immediately rushed Liz to the hospital, joining up with @Biddygirl & @AriaBrisard. Aria was kind enough to summon a doctor but he met an untimely end at the hands of @CadeSkywalker when Cade landed the Mynock on top of the poor soul. Cade then took over the healing of Liz. When last we saw her she was in stable condition which was fantastic seeing as she had been checked on by 520582 other doctors-including one @DrHawkeyePierce. Say what you will, we might not have the canon on our side-but our waiting rooms have the wittiest banter.

In an effort to save Liz and remove various shrapnel from her wounds, Cade, with the help of @AzlynRae slowed the blood flow and tightened bandages made from pieces of clothing around the open wounds in her leg and arms. Using shatterpoint in reverse, a piece of transparisteel lodged into Liz’s skull was carefully taken out and some healing began.
Azlyn and Cade begun to bond some - this being the first time they’d worked side by side since Azlyn’s near death experience and reconstruction surgery on Kamino, and the power to stop one from dying took its toll on Cade. As he transferred Liz to The Mynock, a comm was intercepted from @TheCadBane going to @Bikoura threatening a second strike.
Brushing with the darkside to heal, and taking no further risks, Cade rushed Liz into Bikoura’s secure residence, crashing through the first line of defence and placing her inside the further few, waiting until @every1hatesani and @biddygirl were there to take over. Not wanting any further connection to the situation, and struggling with the rising anger in himself, Cade returned to @deliah_blue and @draconicdreams to sleep and rejuvenate, only to awaken more angry and possibly more evil than the night before.
Currently, Cade is trashing a bar in the lower level slums.
